Anne Johnson

AIF®, ChFC®

Anne Johnson is a fee-only independent financial advisor and financial planner for Ely Prudent Portfolios, LLC.  She grew up in a rural farming community in Northern California, where hard work and local relationships were keys to the success of a business owner.  To a farmer, the roots of his or her business ran very deep.  It was not only their livelihood, but the family home, and a legacy for generations to come.

Anne’s career as a financial professional began in her hometown as a teller at Bank of America, providing quality customer service and building relationships.  She later served in various areas of banking as an authorized officer, working with client needs on the platform to open various types of accounts for individuals, business owners, trusts, and qualified accounts.  Serving others was driven by listening to client needs, and focused on a solution suited to their needs.

Anne left banking with a vision to pursue the next step, expanding her knowledge of financial services.  The transition was no longer about individual transactions but rather helping each client measure areas of risk, and plan for their future.  However, serving the needs of clients with care and concern remains her focus.

Anne joined an independent brokerage firm as a Financial Consultant, serving client relationships for more than 14 years.  It was during this time period while working closely with clients and retirement plan participants, that she completed the curriculum and earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant®, in February 2012.  In response to increased scrutiny by the Department of Labor regarding fiduciary standards in the industry, Anne earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Certification, in March of 2016.  Anne is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

As a Past Chair of the Ambassador Committee, of the Chico Chamber of Commerce, Anne served with community leaders on the Board of Directors and also served on the Ambassador Executive Committee. As an Ambassador, she currently volunteers on the economic development track through Team Chico.

As a member of the community we serve, it is not only our privilege and obligation to serve well in our profession, but to build relationships with genuine care and concern for others.

True humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less.
